Yeah I'm pretty sure it was decided in class that we are responsible for sending our own stories to the Chief Editors

See in terms of making the potential for external submissions as broad as possible, would it be worthwhile doing what the Union does and sending an e-mail out to "all-students@lists.strath.ac.uk", so that literally every student on campus gets it?
Could also be good for letting people know about the event if they haven't seen posters, etc?
I was just asking 'cause I wasn't sure if we'd need to ask permission to do that? Haha!

Probably best. Don't want to get us in bother.

Also, editor-wise -- I was wondering if we could go through what's happening with submissions. I've heard lots of different things. Now we've been given feedback (from Chief Editors and Lucy) when we've made changes does it go straight back to the CEs or do we send it to our individual editors?
just feels like a lot of pressure will be on the CEs if we're constantly sending them things, whereas communication with individual editors will sort of help lighten their workload.

After CE feedback it goes straight to me and Dave as a final submission. (I think?)

See for other stories, are we to send them to the editor that we sent our first one to? Or directly to the Chief editors?

Hi Rachel, if you could send them to sub-editors first and then to one of us chiefs after. Also on the note of submissions, I've been sent a poem if one of the editors would like to have a look over it. I've attached it here so whoever wants to take a look just say so we don't have multiple readers. Hope ya'll have good weekends. Attachments:

I would think that if it's a piece that you haven't had edited at all yet, it would go to your individual editor first (i.e. me haha ; they'll give you their feedback; you'd redraft the piece if need be, and then you'll send it off to the CE's.
