Flux - Strathclyde University Literary Journal
Strathclyde University's honours Creative Writing students are launching a new Literary Journal this summer called Flux.
We are opening up submissions to all Strathclyde students, past and present, to explore the theme of 'time'.
We want your approach to the theme of time. You could find inspiration by looking to the past or imagining the future. We'll be accepting short story, flash fiction, poetry and flash non-fiction submissions in our search for fresh, new creative writers.
If you are interested please contact Claire or Dave with the subject: 'Flux Submission' before the 22nd March.

Think that reads really well. I'd maybe add 'short stories (1500 words max)' to rule out the possibility of getting novellas from super-keen people!

Hey, so I know someone who went to night school classes and studied CW at strathy - he writes poetry - would he count as an ex-strathy member? He seemed interested but want to double check he'd be able to submit?

Kerryann, I reckon that's fine, we're going for anyone 'affiliated with the uni'.
Also, I have a note of the other creative writing classes so that we can go and encourage submissions. They are as follows:

I can go in at 2 to the Monday class? But have a class 11-1.
And can do the Thursdays 1-3?

Also I know a girl who does this course who is in- I want to say second- year at strath. She says she'll share our flux-ings on their JCW fb page. So hopefully some of them will submit and even come along to the gig xxxxx
