We kind of came to the conclusion today that we should get another band night on the go.
I'm going to look at venues (Flying Duck, The Art School and 13th Note are all potential venues) but we need some bands.
We're looking at the end of May/beginning of June for the night if you could see when your mates/cousins bands are free.
Since we're not starting from zero and we're asking a little wider than last time I don't think it's outside the realms of possibility that we could offer a case of beer in exchange for a set, but I think fees are a wee bit beyond us still at the moment.

I sent off emails to 13th note and the art school today - I'll put up the information when I get it all back, so hopefully we'll have a venue and a date after the meeting on Monday.

13th Note just as mondays to wednesays available (maybe some thursdays - they weren't too specific) The Art School - Tues 14th May - Wed 15th May (on hold) - Sun 19th May (on hold) - Mon 20th May - Tues 28th - Wed 29th May (on hold) - Fri 31st May (on hold) - Sat 1st June (on hold) - Sun 2nd June - Mon 3rd June (on hold) Sunday the 2nd might be good, Sunday might be cool for an acoustic night |

I think (for me anywho) Sunday's are a little weird for getting into town. My buses are really irregular and my trains are even worse (by a certain time my train just randomly stops the station before my stop and doesn't go further for some reason). But then that might just be my weirdo public transport  |

I can't do sundays I have to work  obviously if no one else is in the same position you can go ahead as it's impossible to get a day that suits everyone, but I imagine there will be others who work weekends too. |

If it's a Sunday evening, I can do it, but I'm at work all day 'til 6.
Any other night apart from Wednesday and Thursday (working), I can make it.

Sunday evening David - and I completely understand if it's difficult to get in (bloody sunday service!) - I do think it would suit an acoustic right really well though.
