Awright troops!
I went to speak to The Union about using the debate's chamber for an election type event and we need to pay because we are not a society/ club so I suggest we become a society/ club! It costs £1 and when I asked about other benefits 'funding' was on the list which sounds promising.
I'll look into it a wee bit more and post my findings.
