Whether it's too early or not, I thought I'd get the ball rolling with this one.
The first publisher Peter recommended, though didn't really expand on in the meeting yesterday was Clydeside Press - who I was actually going to mention at our next meeting (I have another meeting at 1 on Monday, but will try my best to make it along to the union after!). A relative of mine had his book published with Clydeside Press for a reasonable price, and the finished book is good quality, just as good as Octavius and what have you.
I also did a quick search in Waterstones, and discovered that they're stocking a few books currently printed by Clydeside Press (a good sign). If you want an instant estimate, they just need to know what the black and white page count, and the colour page count would be, along with overall quantity (if we want to do some estimated guesswork at this point to get a price). They also state that they're happy to discuss the project further if you want to stop by (they're based in the High Street) - a primary idea to start with anyway!

Don't worry about Monday, Kat, our student led meetings change to Thursday from this week, remember? So you'll be able to tell us all about it!

Think it'd be benificial to contact them about a quote. It'd be good to have the journal looking as professional as Gutter does.

As we've settled on Bell and Bain I'm going to move this thread to the archive.
