This isn't completely related to anything, but just stumbled upon this very old literary journal (like, Thomas-Hardy-sort-of-old): dl.lib.brown.edu/pdfs/1174310828671875.pdf

Their design is cracking. Kind of wish we had more money to have more illustrators in ours. Quite like the mixture of the ones in here.

Anyway....... back to the essay.
