Hey everyone, so I thought I'd let you know about a possible writing mini-break that's happening over the Summer. I write for For Books Sake (http://forbookssake.net) and as all the writers are quite geographically disparate throughout the year, we've decided it'd be good to meet up once we all have the chance to wind down! Apparently they do it most summers, but I just joined a year ago so this will be my first time, and we're opening the break up to anyone that fancies it. We're looking to stay over a Friday + Sat, we're thinking ATP-style but for literature...we'd just share the cooking, it'll be good quiet space for writing, interspersed with a few trips to the pub and other 'activities' we're lining up (no activity is compulsory by the way, you can use the break however you like). Its always nice to get together with like-minded folk, and after journal class ends, you might be desperately missing everyone And it'd be a more casual setting. We'll probably stay in the Hebden Bridge Hostel. I know the term 'hostel' doesn't always get people thinking good things, but this one has had great reviews and lovely scenery, and my editor stayed there last year and really liked it - www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g528757-d2323792-Reviews-Hebden_Bridge_Hostel-Hebden_Bridge_West_Yorkshire_England.html Send me an email or a message if you're interested.
