So, do you think I can respond to Neil today like I said I would rather than discussing this tomorrow at the meeting?
How about I say that 'the design team are leaning towards a water themed interior and it would be good if this was reflected in the art work.' I'll also add a few of the suggestions about clocks, boats and messages in bottles as inspiration.
What do you think?
I would quite like to get back to him today because I don't want to keep him waiting when I know he could be busy with other commissions.

Nice one Claire, i think the illustrations add a lot of personality, I'm happy thematically with whatever you guys think. Water suits me however!

Have sent Claire an email to say that the sandcastle or the clock are probably the ones to go for, so think that's the semi-final decision. Just to keep you all in the loop Intrigued to see what the finished pictures will turn out like! |

I might be a bit late on this lol, but i really like the bottle and clock ideas any one of them would look great in the journal, though! I also voted to not have a wee person within in the design. Not that i hate people or anything - i like most people - but i think the design would be much better without them . |

Hey... I'm sorry but I said to Neil to go ahead with the illustrations yesterday. At this point the only answers on the poll were 'don't care' and my own one which was 'people are cute' so I haven't asked him to exclude people. I'm really sorry. With all this hubble bubble toil and trouble I don't want yous thinking I just dingyed the poll... it's just that no one had used the poll... I was even going to make another poll asking why people hadn't used the poll. Was it A) Because polls are stupid, B) Because artwork is stupid, C) Because Claire is stupid, or D) Oh look, I just realised there was a poll... but for some reason I couldn't remember how I'd made that poll... anyway.
I'm sorry. The deed is done. If you want to give me grief about it then stick it in an e-mail and I'll read it after I've sat my exams.
