Hiya all,
As discussed last week we need to start getting in some raffle prizes and what not in soon so I've made up a little draft letter and sent it all to your email addresses given to set up the account for this forum.
Use as you see fit. Edit it if you wish. Everything in italics should be changed for whoever you are approaching.
I've included my name and contact email at the end for continuity but if you'd rather they contact you directly feel free to do so and post your triumphs on here!
Please post in this thread who you intend to contact so we're not hassling folk twice.
(Just had an email from Claire and Dave and they approve the letter so it's all good :-) )

I've been given 2 tickets to a Thai boxing match in Paisley (the Lagoon) at the end of March from John O'Brian. It's his event so I should be able to get the tickets soon  |

Hello my work will donate vouchers for Nardinis and Tony Macaronis which is great! People go nuts when you mention Nardinis ice-cream so quite a good prize |

I'm not sure, he just very vaguely described it as "a big easter egg". Could be anything! Maybe we could make that part of the mystery, sell more tickets!  |

I'm going to e-mail round loads of places over the next few days and see if i can get anything! My friend Mark told me that when he had to organise events as part of his course at Caledonian Uni, a lot of local paintballing/go-karting/gyms/ hairdressers were usually keen to give away vouchers. He um... also mentioned that strip clubs such as Seventh Heaven gave him free passes and stuff lmao, but i don't know if anybody would have a problem with this being a prize?  |
