I've got my boxing tickets finally. The guy posted them through what he thought was our door - it wasn't, it was out neighbour's, so popped round and he'd thrown them in the bin by accident because he thought they were junk mail. Thankfully they were just in a plastic bag ready for the paper bin (yey for recycling!) haha.

My friend Fiona text me the other day offering me a bottle of fizz that she's had leftover from christmas, and my big cousin Pauline who said that she'd be able to get us some raffle prizes is coming round to my house tomorrow night - so i'll let you guys know what she's managed to come up with ! |

SO i have also managed to acquire: a bottle of Russian Standard vodka, two bottles of white wine, a bottle of whiskey, Burberry Weekend perfume (still sealed in its box) and Glee perfume (still sealed in its box. and also: lol).

Well done Jenna!! I've got a bottle of Highland Park whiskey as well.
Also, Gemma: did you manage to get anything football-themed for the raffle - and have you bought raffle tickets? If you have, it'd be great if you can bring them in on Monday - and if not, I can buy them as I'm doing the raffle anyway.

Oh, i was going to offer to buy a bucket for donations if anyone else hasn't already? And i'm gonna wear a wee bumbag on the night so that i can put all the entry fee money straight into it haha. you never know - there might be some people floating about who have sticky fingers!

I know, I think we'll need to keep an eagle eye on the money. I'll buy a wee box for raffle money as well then - it'd be good to keep each separate (tickets/raffle/donations), so we know how much we've made from each.
But I mean in the bigger scheme of things too - if we don't have a bank account yet, where does the money go after Tuesday night?

Yeah absolutely . And that's a good question =/. If we simply don't have a bank account by the night, then the only thing i can think of is nominating certain people who will just have to take responsibility for the money and take it home with them; like choosing 3 separate people responsible for entry free money/donation money/ raffle money, so that the "burden" doesn't fall on a single person. Not that i'm making an official nomination, but maybe the Funketeering team would be the most suitable people? We should defo discuss it further on Monday, though . |

Well, I suppose separate people are already responsible for those roles. We'll need to discuss it further on here, or on Monday as you say.
Actually forgot to clarify whether the problem at the union had been resolved (ie. when Marissa wasn't able to put money in the account).

Do we not still have the union 'bank' account thing? I remember them saying they were going to contact them because there were issues but I can't remember if the issues meant we now didn't have one.

Cheers David ! I know Marissa said on Thursday that she had went to pay money into the union bank account, but whoever she spoke to basically told her that our group didn't exist lol =/. Hopefully that was just a daft mistake, though! |
