Oh yeah! Was meaning to mention the Lighthouse actually. That or the Tron could be cool. Both will probably be booked up quite soon though so we'd need to ask relatively soon.

Fabulous! Cool so save a few cakes til the night and any spare we could maybe flog at uni the next day. The Lighthouse like a really cool space, max capacity is 150 though where as The Tron can hold up to 230. I'll get quotes and see how much they might charge. I'll get prices for wine/corkage too. Cheese and biscuits will probably workout about nearly £3 a head so a total around £450 if we're only having 150 folk, pretty expensive so maybe something else or just booze might be better

Yeah, I wasn't personally sure about the cheese and biscuits idea - I don't know if THAT many people would actually eat them, and I wouldn't want us to waste a lot of money if people are just going to see the novelty value of them .

Been to the Lighthouse before, it is very nice.
The People's Palace and Pollok House are lovely too (although the latter is not city centre).
Maybe even the Mitchell?

Art Club looks nice. Mitchell could also be an idea David. Also, CCA?

Hi guys. Something urgent has come up that I need to attend to before tomorrow so I'm not going to be able to come to the fundraiser. So gutted. I was wondering whether anyone would be willing to print the posters that I made up? They are A3 and I think the uni printer does A3 paper? If not, I guess we can use them again. Really very sorry I'll not be able to come. It's unavoidable. Good luck!! Attachments:

Yeah, Kat, I suggested CCA as well at the meeting, but people didn't seem as keen apparently because Maement had theirs there last year and look what happened to their journal.....!
